This client purchased this home with extreme woodwork everywhere yet they were cleaner living people. As an experienced Scottsdale interior designer, we renovated this home, removing a lot of heavy scrolls leaving things cleaner and lighter. We still kept that elegant feel with raw silk draperies and dupioni silk bedding in warm neutrals and cream wall to wall carpeting. We removed the heavy wood on the fireplace and framed it with a lower white large mantelpiece.

This room is now warm and inviting with a clean romantic feel. The perfect interior design tailor made for their needs.
