This client was a real estate broker from Canada and bought this property as an investment to resell. The former owner, an overseas company, never used the house so it was old and never cared for but was an amazing piece of property. The property contained a main house that had 5 bedrooms plus 2 multiple room guest houses, tennis court and the biggest pool I have ever seen at a residence. This house needed a full renovation everywhere including the grounds. Nothing in or around this house was salvageable. This project took me over a year to complete and it took place in 2020. Because the owner lived in Canada and it was during Covid he wasn’t able to come to see the progress or make selections so everything we did was either by trust in me, which was usually the case, or by facetime. This project was a designers dream. You could do what you wanted more or less but because it was for resale you needed to stay within certain budget parameters.
